Why "Made in the USA?"

Many industry experts have asked us - "Why do you make this in the US? Metal work like this is much cheaper in Mexico or China" 

We agree. We could save money by getting the parts made overseas or in Mexico (which is only 60 miles away), but we chose to keep production in Tucson and employ local people to make it. While this choice ultimately could cost us some profit, we feel that it is worth it in the long run. There are many benefits that are not counted directly on the bottom line, such as:

• Better quality control - we can keep a much closer eye on production
• Faster product development times
• Keeps the money in the local economy
• It makes us feel good

So while some MBAs would call us foolish, we are happy with our choice. We care about the people involved in our product, not just the bottom line on a balance sheet. Customer service starts at home, with our own employees and spreads outwards to all the people that use and install our products.
